Climate Change

Destruction of habitats threatens species and entire ecosystems.

What is Climate Change?

Climate Change is the result of an increased amount of carbon-dioxide emission which increase the temperature. It can result in changes to the weather patterns of a region affected.

Signs of Climate Change

Temperature

A sign that accompanies climate change is the difference in temperature around the world cause by the atmosphere containing more heat due to greenhouse gases. This can cause issues to arise in areas depended on colder temperatures because it can be harmful to animals.

Signs of Climate Change

Extreme Weather

Another sign used by the effects of climate change is that droughts have been longer than usual and have been causing greater damage worldwide because of this. Also, storms like tropical storms have starting having a larger impact because of the weather and increased level of large bodies of water.

Signs of Climate Change

Sea

Along with that another example of a sign resulted by the changes of climate change is sea ice in locations such as the Arctic Ocean close to the North Pole, has been dissolving in the water due to the increased temperature of the water. Along with that glaciers have also been seen melting at a faster pace than predicted. This has cause sea levels to rise, portraying a possible issue for many alongside shore.
